Two stories, one app. Both win.

Do you have a lease car? Then sharing lowers your taxable benefit. No lease car? Then you easily borrow one from a colleague: free for business trips, and for private use often cheaper than a hire car or even your own car.

Choose your story.

The same app, two sides: the lease driver who shares their car, and the colleague who borrows one.

Bas, a lease driver who shares his Volvo EX30 via Klicq

Your car stands idle anyway. Let it earn something.

On holiday, on regular work-from-home days or at the weekend: if a colleague uses your car privately, the taxable benefit for those days shifts automatically to that colleague. You only pay taxable benefit for your own private use, and you see that straight away on your payslip.

Instant insight
With every request from a colleague, you immediately see how much your taxable benefit drops.
You stay in control
Sharing is allowed, but never required. You decide when, with whom, and whether your car is shared for business only or for private use as well.
Business trips
If your car stands idle during the day, a colleague can use it for a business trip. It costs you nothing and shifts no taxable benefit.
Sanne, a colleague without a lease car, steps out of a colleague's lease car with a cup of coffee
Sannecolleague without a lease car

A car when you need one. Without owning one.

Through the Klicq app you easily borrow a colleague's lease car, or book a pool car for business trips. Business trips cost you nothing. And private use? That is possible with a colleague's lease car: a day out with the kids, a weekend at the seaside or three weeks touring France. Pool cars are for business trips only.

  • Free for business
  • No claim afterwards
  • For private use, often cheaper than hiring
Business
Book, drive, done. No claims afterwards.
Private
You pay taxable benefit for the days you borrow. Depending on your employer's sharing policy, you drive unlimited, drive a number of kilometres free, or pay a sharp all-in price per kilometre.
Everything included
Fuel or charging, insurance and maintenance are included in the all-in price. No surprises.
Clear in advance
When you book, you immediately see an indicative price, based on your own payroll tax rate and your expected mileage. Settlement runs automatically through your payslip.

Worked example. What borrowing costs you depends on your employer's sharing policy.

Need a different car for a while? Swap temporarily with a colleague.

A bigger car for the holiday, a tow bar for the caravan or trailer, more seats for a day out, or a compact car for the city. Two lease drivers swap cars for an agreed period.

Compact for the city. Swap for the rare long trip.

Mireille nearly always drives within Utrecht. She used to choose a bigger car, “just in case”. Now she drives a compact ID.3 and swaps with a colleague a few times a year when she does need a big car. Lower costs and lower consumption, without giving up flexibility.

Swapping
The taxable benefit shifts automatically to the car you drive during that period. No mileage limit and no per-kilometre settlement.
Good to know
Swapping is only possible between colleagues who both drive a lease car with a taxable benefit. As a lease driver you therefore do not rent: you swap. Your own car can still be borrowed by colleagues without a lease car.

Worked example.

“But what if…” The practical side.

Damage, charging, the key and a clean car: it is all arranged in advance.

What if there is damage?
Every trip is linked to the driver, so it is always clear who drove when. The driver reports damage straight away in the app and it is handled properly. Any excess is clear in advance to whoever borrows the car. As the regular driver, you are not held responsible.
How do fuelling and charging work?
Fuel and charging simply go through the car's fuel card. The costs are allocated to the borrowing colleague through the all-in price per kilometre; you will not notice a thing.
And the key?
Today: the spare key or a key safe at the office. Later: the digital key on your colleague's phone, automatically valid during the booking. Read how that works.
Will I get my car back in good shape?
Clear house rules are part of the sharing policy: returned clean, charged or refuelled, and on time. Anyone who does not stick to them temporarily loses the right to book.

Four steps to a booked car.

On the web app, iOS and Android. Booking takes less than a minute, and closing a trip less than 60 seconds.
